Scholarship for Kudal Deshasta Adya Gaud Brahman Samaj
Vishwa Konkani Kendra , Shaktinagar, Mangalore, has announced scholarships for Engineering and Medical courses for students whose mother tongue is Konkani , through the Vishwa Konkani Student Scholarship Fund.
Eligibility Criteria:
1.For MBBS course the student should have scored a minimum of 70% in PCB
For BE course the student should have scored a minimum of 70% in PCM
2.For both courses the student should be placed within 20,000 rank in the CET.
3.The student’s family income should be below Rs 2.5 lakhs per annum.
4.An eminent local professional such as a doctor or chartered accountant should attest the credibility of the student and the family.
5.The student’s mother tongue should be mentioned as Konkani in the Cumulative Record, failing which the student will have to produce a letter by the Principal of the college last studied in, certifying that Konkani is the student’s mother tongue.
6.Student should be willing to sponsor 2 students from Kudal Deshasta Adya Gaud Brahman Samaj community after completion of studies and after securing employment.
